(Pre-sale) Love Thy Neighbor: The Story of Operation Nightwatch on the Streets of Seattle - Author authographed
$21.99

Author Ben Curtis tells us the story of Operation Nightwatch, a Seattle-based nonprofit, and the historic journey of their work with those experiencing homelessness on the street. The encounters in these pages illustrate how we can see those facing homelessness as ourselves and treat them with love and dignity. Starting with Rev. Bud Palmberg, the agency's founder, to Nightwatch's work in present day Seattle, the premise has never changed. An encouraging and often poignant read, this book is for anyone who wants to better understand how we can interact with our neighbors outside. Expect to have your heart moved with compassion for those who are living on the margins of our society. A portion of the proceeds from each copy of this book goes back directly to help people experiencing homelessness in Seattle.

Meet the Author

From a young age, Ben Curtis knew he wanted to write, in fact, felt destined to do it. Enjoying opportunities to put pen to paper throughout junior high and high school, he went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Creative Writing from Whitworth University in 1999.

For the last two and a half decades, he has tried to tell the stories of those often neglected and forgotten in our society through his poetry and prose. The culmination of this work, combined with his vocation of serving the least of these on the streets of Seattle for nearly twenty years, is now his first ever published book.
